Saphy: Streets of Beta

Saphy strolled along the streets of beta, flimsy fliers of it's current ruler was posted here and there on the old walls. She had made her fifth kill this week, and was rather proud of herself. As always no one knew who she was, or what she was doing, to any on looker, she was a traveler. A brave one, to be out and about with the beasts on the rage again. Saphy had picked up one of the fliers and sighed, the man on it was once again blaming the hunters for the recent attacks, claiming they weren't doing their jobs.

"How pathetic, he take's credit for all the good things that has been happening, then runs and hides, pointing the finger at the hunters for when shit starts to fall apart," she growled.

Kit:Forest outside of Alpha

A large snake-beast had coiled itself around a branch, until a tomahawk came soaring through the air slicing its head clean off.

"Bull's eye looks like we get snake steak for dinner tonight buddy"a boy with flaming hair said to the small fox laying across his shoulders. "Now to get my axe back." He tugged on the handle of the small axe, but it would not budge. "What the fuck...." after tugging at it a few more times the boy pulled out his shotgun "Stupid tree...." he shot the branch freeing his tomahawk letting the carcass of the snake fall on his shoulder "Man Kit you really are a genius" the boy complemented himself vainly but only a few minutes later the forest came alive with many beasts jumping out staring down the boy "....umm hey so" Kit blasted one in the face with his shotgun "You all wanna line up so I can save ammo or are you going to force me to go into town for some shells?" they all rushed him giving him his answer "Well fuck....."

Croh: A bar in Beta

A makeshift radio made of junk, scavenged parts that hardly fit together and exposed wiring sat upon a shelf just in front of a rack of liquor, the rusted piece of old world-tech broadcasting a static-y message, loose bits of news coming along from the other standing cities. The several colored and clear bottles dusty with age and covered in faded or missing labels were lined up according to size and color, creating a rainbow of different shapes and colors.

A hand reached up and grabbed one of the bottles, a clear bottle with a faded silver and red label, the lettering on which had probably been worn off ages ago. It was half full of an amber colored liquid. With a gentle tilt the contents made their way into a glass up till it was half full.

"Do you hear this? Those worthless brains out in Alpha think theyre worth something, round here people are still getting chewed up and what do those hunters do about it? NOTHIN'"

A man said now standing in front of the radio and pointing to it.

"Sit down and drink before you start tripping over yourself" The bartender said

"No way! All this kinda crap is just idiotic! What are we supposed to be doing around here anyway? Just waitin to die?" The drunken man continued, picking up the drink that had just been poured for him and swinging it around sloshing it every which way, spilling a bit on another patron.

"Could you shut up I'm trying to listen to that" The man who had just caught a bit of whiskey onto the top of his head said, wiping it away and wringing his hair of the strong liquor before it set in and he began to reek of it.

"Like hell! You know that garbage isnt good for anything but tellin lies!" The boisterious man continued on his tirade, this time yanking the wire of the radio out of its power source.

This time however the man, who had been calm up to this point simply snatched the whiskey bottle out of the bartenders hand and swung it hard. Connecting with the loud-obnoxious and possibly drunken man's face squarely, shattering and getting alcohol, glass and blood everywhere. The man's hand opened up, dropping the remains of the neck of the bottle as it sailed past the man's head. He'd then grab a handful of hair before rocketing the mans head into the bar. Finally allowing him to slump to the floor afterward.

"Seriously, the nerve of some people, I was listening to that" The once quiet patron said now taking the glass that the now unconscious man had earlier and downing the remaining amber liquid within it.

"Damnit Croh! You cant just go about beating people like that! Get out of my bar!" The bartender commanded slamming his hands down "And you better expect to pay for that bottle you just wasted!" he commanded

Shaking the glass and liquid off his gloves Croh sighed dejectedly as he got up and started out the door "It was his fault" he mumbled just before stepping out onto the streets.

Saphy: still in beta

Saphy walked to a bar, she was thirsty, but didn't want to get drunk. To her she was still too young to do so. Pushing her goggles back into place, for they always slide down her hair, she reached our to open the door. A loud crashing noise, and what sounded like a fight made the young girl pull her hand back. She drew one of her smaller knives and peeked into the bar, just in time to see a man knocked unconscious, if not dead, and the bartender yelling at the man who may have been responsible.

Saphy put her knife back in it's hidden place then entered all the way. She hoped that no one would notice that she was a hunter, heck, she barely dressed like one.

"what can i get for you?" the bartender asked.

"Uh...just water..." she said shyly.

the bartender gave her a questioning look, then got out a small glass and poured some water into it. He handed it to the small girl and watched with mild interest.

"Are ya looking for you're pops?" he asked.

"No, i was traveling, got thirsty," she replied with a small smile.

Croh: Causing trouble in Beta

Pushing past the girl entering just as he was making his way out and noticing she seemed to be a bit on edge, possibly due to his actions within the establishment only moments earlier. Croh made his way out onto the street, rubbing his eye once again as they adjusted to the light, from the dim lighting of the bar. A light cough passed his lips as a drink of alcohol wasn't nearly as thirst quenching as...well anything.

Upon making it outside he would look back over his shoulder for a brief moment before moving off to the side of the doorway and plopping down without so much as a word.

Kit:Halfway to beta

Kit licked his fingers "Man snake steak and venison, talk about a hunter's feast" Roy yipped happily. Kit looked at his ammo bandolier "Shit boy looks like I'll have to double time it to beta, I'm almost out of shells." Kit locked his shotgun into a bracket on his shoulder and drew one of his hunting knife in his right hand and his tomahawk in his left. "Hold on tight boy" Roy yipped and Kit took off at the highest speed he could maintain.

Saphy sipped at her drink, enjoying it while it lasted, wont be often that she'll be able to sit down and enjoy herself. After all, she was headed to the next city, it was a long walk, a dangerous one and she'll be on her feet most of the time.
